The Oppo F19 Pro is an electronic keyboard that claims to be a great keyboard for beginners. At first glance, the look of the keyboard seems great: full colour keys with nice rounded corners, a responsive mouse pad and a comprehensive system tray. But does it live up to its claim to fame? I’ve put it through the ringer, testing it out on my laptop and keyboard. Here’s what I found. Oppo F19 Pro
Like most laptops I’ve tested, the Oppo F19 Pro doesn’t have a USB port. If you’re looking at this keyboard for use with a digital camera, then you’ll be disappointed. The F19 Pro comes with an external USB card reader, but it doesn’t support the latest cameras – so if you want to upload the files from your camera directly to your laptop or flash drive, you’re out of luck. This is a minor gripe, however. If you have an iPad and use the camera port, then the camera interface will allow you to upload straight to your iBooks app without any problems.
Although it does have an external optical drive, the Oppo F19 Pro isn’t compatible with most external drives. Instead, it uses its own internal flash drive (which also acts as a mini SD card). If you want to transfer images from your camera to your computer and want to use this keyboard with an iPad, then you’re going to need an external drive. Other major disadvantages of this keyboard include not having an adjustable microphone input, a lack of screen brightness and a slow processor.
The Oppo F19 Pro review looked at the keyboard’s dimensions as being smaller than the iPhone and Sony Ericsson PDA keyboards. The F19 Pro comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, however the screen is quite small and it’s difficult to type on. In terms of typing speed, the keyboard is faster than the iPhone and Sony Ericsson phones. It has a nice, spacious backlit screen though and a large, bright screen with an adjustable brightness.
Oppo F19 Pro battery life is average for an android phone – it lasts around six hours on average. It has an average sound quality, but if sound quality is important to you, then the Oppo F19 Pro might not be the phone you’re looking for. The Oppo F19 Pro comes with a neat little feature that enables you to turn off the GPS on your phone by pressing a dedicated key on the home key. The phone also comes with two additional sim cards, one of which supports UMDI format. Other features include a dual camera control, a memory card reader, an infrared sensor, and a microSD card.
The Oppo F19 Pro camera offers a complete manual and a manual for the motion sensitivity. This is a good camera for anyone who needs a portrait shot in the dark. You should make sure you take enough pictures with this phone though to justify the battery, it has a fast processor and runs all day long so don’t go expecting miracles with the battery.
